3D areola tattoo restoration is a specialized paramedical tattoo service designed to recreate the appearance of a natural areola following breast reconstruction, mastectomy, top surgery, or other breast procedures. Consultation:
A consultation is required prior to your procedure. During this appointment we assess your scar type, skin tone, treatment candidacy, and goals. We discuss realistic expectations, create a custom treatment plan, and provide a final price confirmation. The consultation fee is
non-refundable- it will be credited toward the cost of your procedure.

Clients should be fully healed from surgery — at least 6 months up to 1 year (if scarring) — before receiving this service. Physician clearance is required.

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure each appointment (except complimentary follow-up). Deposit is applied toward your total balance.

Cancellations or reschedules require 48 hours notice. Late cancellations forfeit the deposit. No Shows may result in services no longer being provided by this studio.

Results vary by skin type, texture, and post-surgical changes. A thorough in-person consultation helps set realistic expectations. Please contact the studio if accommodations are necessary in order to attend advanced in-person consultation via alternate means.

In certain instances, you MAY be eligible to utilize health insurance benefits to cover a portion or all of the cost of a 3D Areola Tattoo Procedure. While Hue + Heart Ink does not directly process insurance claims or prior authorizations, we can provide documentation to help you seek out-of-network reimbursement. Under the federal Women's Health and Cancer Rights Act (WHCRA), group health insurance plans that cover mastectomy must cover breast reconstruction, which includes areolar tattooing. Insurance may cover some or all costs for post-mastectomy areola restoration. Ask about documentation support at your consultation. All procedures must be paid in full by the time of the procedure.
